Maintenance mechanic, Industrial repair, preventive, Food, PLC - Maintenance mechanic, Electrical, Industrial,Valve, pumps, compressors, boilers, AC systems, welding - Skills Required - Maintenance mechanic, Electrical, Industrial, Has own tools a PLUS, Welding/Fabrication, PLC a plus, Preventive Maintenance, 12 hour shifts, Pneumatics/Hydraulics, Mechanical Repair We are looking for a NIGHT SHIFT available maintenance mechanic to perform maintenance and repair of plant equipment at an industrial plant, which includes areas of expertise in electrical, welding and instrumentation.
What You Will Be Doing The primary focus of this role is to assure safe and efficient production by responding to changing conditions in timely manner, with a more specific emphasis on preventive maintenance and welding.
Some of what you will be resonsible for will include, but is not limited to:
- Performs maintenance in all areas of the plant on a scheduled or emergency basis:
o Mechanical repairs on pumps, valves, and heat exchangers o Electrical repairs on motors, motor starters; running conduit and pulling wires for new installations o Building repairs and cleaning - Determines malfunctioning units by observing control instruments, such as meters and gauges.
- Communicates directly with production to coordinate maintenance and repair work.
What You Need for this Position o A high school diploma is required o Five years experience in electrical or instrumentation maintenance and repair.
o An electrical apprentice license or greater is preferred o Understanding of plant operational processes and procedures, including routine and emergency start-up and shutdown practices o Combination of Mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatic/Hydraulic experience desired.
o Previous Fabrication/Welding experience desired.
o PC/PLC experience preferred o Proficiency with basic computer software preferred We have at least one, maybe TWO roles open.
