FITNESS MANAGER


Summary:
Contribute to the profitability of clubs by driving Personal Training sales and Member Satisfaction through the execution of standardized production methods, ISHC Sales Systems through Club Ready, and fitness staff oversight and training.
The Fitness Manager (FM) is the point of reference for fitness expertise within the club.
Qualifications:
o High School diploma or GED o Four-year degree in kinesiology, sports medicine, or other related field preferred o Certified Personal Training certification from a NCCA accredited program o Current CPR/AED certification o Experience in marketing and selling services o Bilingual skills a plus o One-year personal training experience preferred o Good writing and math skills, excellent communication skills, and computer literacy with MS Office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Conduct FITSTART sessions for new members o Introduce members to the benefits of personal training and sales of training packages o Work in collaboration with the General Manager and Multi-unit Fitness Management (MUFM) to develop club Personal Training strategy, goals and action plans o Direct and manage personal trainers and Assistant Fitness Managers (AFMs) to ensure delivery of high quality fitness programs for member/clients o Determine member/prospect goals, wants and needs; build rapport to customize sales presentation and client training programs o Recruit, hire and manage performance of Assistant Fitness Managers and Personal Trainers in collaboration with the GM and MUFM o Train and develop Assistant Fitness Managers and Personal Trainers for career advancement o Motivate and coach AFMs in planning and achieving goals o Fill in as a personal trainer in the event of a trainer no-show or as otherwise needed o Work closely with club Sales Manager and membership sales staff to ensure FITSTART booking targets are met Click here to apply.
