Front End Developer – Contract

DESCRIPTION:
Create XHTML/HTML5 templates with associated CSS.
Easily perform all common JavaScript tasks including jQuery, AJAX and JSON.
Maintain existing sites' HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Maintain content within existing websites and populate new ones.
Accurately interpret wireframes and specifications documents, ensuring their adherence in created applications and web-based tools.
Accurately interpret complex graphical designs and converting them in to functional applications and web-based tools.

Ensure pixel perfect interpretation of Photoshop files to web pages when appropriate.
Deliver clean, clear and well-documented code according to the Technical and Design Standards.
Expected to be able to handle all XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery development duties and have reasonable experience with advanced JavaScript concepts along with hands on experience with AngularJS and Bootstrp.
Basic knowledge is also required for:
command line LINUX, version control systems (git and svn) and simple database maintenance/MySQL.
Code is expected to be exceptionally clean, consistent and standards based.
Experience in secondary tools such as EmberJS, BackboneJS, Sketch, Photoshop and Illustrator are a plus.
Develop state of the art, accessible, standards compliant:
XHTML/HTML5, CSS (3), JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrp, and Angular JS Interact with backend developers i.
e.
IT and Bioinformatics SW engineers.
Translate user experience and interaction design framework into front-end code EXPERIENCE AND
Qualifications:
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Extensive education in Field is required.
