THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Full responsibility for multiple project schedule coordination and tracking within a fast paced product development environment Lead cross functional team throughout new product introduction process Fully responsible for the mechanical/ technical development of new eyewear models including mechanical engineering, bill of materials, and technical drawings Communicate project status to department manager and applicable departments Institute continuous improvement and cost reduction programs Limited travel to international factories THE QUALIFIERS Knowledge and understanding of general metal manufacturing techniques Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, JIT, Set-Up Reduction, etc Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word B.

in Industrial, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering STOKED IF YOU HAVE THIS TOO Previous project management experience Hands on experience with metal fabrication and/ or machine shop experience Previous product development/manufacturing experience Previous eyewear development/manufacturing experience Basic knowledge of page layout software (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
