98 an hour Job Description Provide technical assistance, troubleshooting and support for employees and systems used by the business.
Provide daily onsite support for operations in Tipton, Visalia and our teams working remotely.
Job reports to the Director of IT.
Primary Responsibilities User Support Act as 1st line of support for issues reported to IT and escalate as required Password resets Unlocking accounts Printing issues Office Phones Mobile Phones Hardware issues Software issues Various break/fix efforts Provide IT Administrative support Account creation and changes Set-up end user workstations Various retrievals of files or footage Troubleshoot and resolve patch exceptions Enforce cyber security policies and practices Network Troubleshooting & Support Serve as backup support for Technical Network Support Specialist Support all on site issues as the 1st level resource in Tipton and Visalia Maintaining Equipment Cleaning and/or replacing hardware, radios and cameras as needed Replace / Upgrade Desktops, Laptops, Access Points, cables, APC units, etc.
Trace lines, repair drops and do light cabling or repair work Other Complete assigned IT projects Proficient at online research to reach problem resolutions Follow all safety rules and practices that include wearing all essential personal protective equipment Log issues, problems, and solutions in a centralized database Demonstrate reliable attendance, consistent punctuality, and a conscientious attitude always Act professionally towards colleagues, vendors, and visitors Food Safety is the responsibility of all Ventura Coastal manufacturing employees.
All staff must report food safety and quality problems to their immediate supervisor or the supervisor in charge during their shift.
Perform other duties as assigned and required Qualifications and Education Requirements Technical knowledge of and working experience with Microsoft Windows OS and desktop support.
Hands On troubleshooting experience within an end-user environment.
Prefer AA/AS or BA/BS with/or 2-4 years of experience in technical support.
Familiar with Microsoft 365 products (Outlook, Excel, Word and SharePoint) Experience troubleshooting OS Issues (MS Windows, MS Server) Knowledge of computer hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting Experience supporting software installations and upgrades Familiar with installation and troubleshooting all computer-related peripherals (video, sound, printer, scanner, camera, etc.
) Proficient at online research to see problem resolution Knowledge of basic network concepts and troubleshooting Ability to work successfully in a team involvement environment is a must Must have excellent time management and communication skills Demonstrate excellent English-speaking and written communication.
Spanish speaking a plus Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and ability to work independently with limited oversight Physical Requirements Meet changing priorities and work under pressure Overnight travel to Ventura, CA on as needed basis Travel between plants as needed, support locations including Ventura remotely Rotate support of the after-hours IT Hotline Valid driver's license with clean driving record Lifting and carrying weight of up to 50 lbs.
