Responsibilities:
Responsible for taking home buyer warranty service requests via phone online, inputting incoming warranty claim request tickets into the warranty claims management database, and dispatching the incoming warranty service request claims to the customer service techs and subcontractors within the parameters of the warranty policy and company guidelines.
Respond and follow up promptly, efficiently, professionally, and appropriately.
Responsible for preparing new warranty binders, mailing, and emailing customers as required.
Prepare documents, update databases, and prepare and maintain spreadsheets.
Assist in maintaining electronic and hard copy filing system, retrieve records from filing system, prepare and modify documents including correspondences, reports, spreadsheets, and emails.
Maintain in-depth working knowledge of Buildpro Customer Service systems and processes.
Provide feedback to management regarding service failures or home buyer concerns.
Provide feedback to ensure all home buyers have accurate and timely information on claim status.
Act as a resource in resolving home buyer issues brought to the Customer Service Warranty Department by utilizing excellent process knowledge and strong skills in customer service.
Knowledge, Skills & Performance Standards:
Ability to communicate by phone, in person, or through correspondence.
Possess a thorough understanding of all applicable policies and procedures.
Possess a willingness to learn.
Ability to perform duties with minimal direction.
Excellent communicator, both oral and written Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Requires effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
Maintain a regular work schedule.
Maintain good rapport with customers and sub-trade partners.
Maintain good communication with co-workers.
Maintain good communication with management.
Perform the job with a minimum number of errors.
Education & Work
Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
1-2 years of related experience in claims, warranties, customer service, call centers, administrative, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation Starting pay range from $45k to $55k, depending on experience with an excellent benefit & Incentive package:
