Manage the daily operations of the Food & Beverage departments from the restaurant, bar and banquets to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service and compliance with local and corporate standard operating procedures.
Essential Functions:
Train and assist in the various outlets in order to attract, retain and motivate the employees; provide open communications to assist in all departments Report on the various outlet budgets and their components (labor costs, food costs, beverage costs, supplies, equipment, etc.
) Respond to guest in a timely manner and ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales projects.
Participates in personnel decisions and assists in the disciplinary process.
Assist the F&B Manager in performing administrative duties including payroll, inventory, food orders, proper cash closing and handling, etc.
Leadership:
Leads the team in successful day-to-day operations- by example and by being a role model.
Takes action when F&B Manager is not present.
The ideal candidate will:
Be able to develop positive working relationships with all Food & Beverage personnel Be able to adapt and succeed in a fast paced environment Must have a previous management role in a Food & Beverage atmosphere Ensure that safety and security standards are emphasized and adhered to, and employees are trained in appropriate time lines of the hotel standards Compensation:
Negotiable depending on experience.
Full time hourly position with benefits.
Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends due to nature of position and the industry.
