Mitchell & Powell A Professional Law Corporation Mitchell & Powell A Professional Law Corporation Visalia, CA Visalia, CA Full-time Full-time $16 - $25 an hour $16 - $25 an hour Duties - Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff - Prepare and format legal documents, such as briefs, pleadings, and contracts - Assist with case management by organizing and maintaining files, documents, and correspondence - Schedule appointments, meetings, and court dates for attorneys - Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel for depositions and hearings - Assist in the preparation of trial materials and exhibits - Perform general office tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and handling mail Skills - Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures - Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines - Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in document preparation and case management - Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients, attorneys, and staff - Ability to handle confidential information with discretion - Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Note:
Paralegal experience or a background in law is preferred but not required.
