As an Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with our senior property managers, assisting them with various tasks both in the office and on-site.
Responsibilities:
Assist senior property managers in serving as the primary point of contact for property owners, tenants, and vendors, gaining valuable hands-on experience in communication and relationship management.
Support the smooth day-to-day operations of assigned properties, including assisting with leasing, rent collection, and maintenance activities under the guidance of senior managers.
Learn to maintain positive relationships with property owners, gaining insights into addressing their concerns and needs effectively.
Assist in property inspections and learn about ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards alongside senior managers.
Gain exposure to preparing and managing property budgets, financial reports, and performance analysis, under the mentorship of experienced professionals.
Collaborate with senior managers in coordinating maintenance and repair projects, working closely with vendors and contractors to understand the process.
Develop skills in fostering positive tenant relationships, addressing concerns promptly and professionally with guidance from senior managers.
Requirements:
Some previous experience in property management is preferred, but not required.
Those with experience as a property manager will be considered favorably.
Basic knowledge of local real estate laws and regulations is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and a desire to learn and grow in the field of property management.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and a willingness to learn property management software and other relevant tools.
