We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Customer Service Manager to lead our customer service team in the manufacturing industry.
This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to drive customer satisfaction and contribute to our company's success.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in customer service, order processing, on-time delivery management, schedule changes, use of standard operating systems, customer quotes, customer interaction, problem-solving, and pricing.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the customer service department.
Develop and implement customer service policies and procedures to ensure consistent customer satisfaction.
Manage the order processing system to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
Handle schedule changes and communicate effectively with both the team and the customers.
Utilize standard operating systems to streamline customer service processes and improve efficiency.
Prepare and provide customer quotes, negotiate contracts, and manage pricing strategies.
Interact with customers regularly to understand their needs and expectations and ensure their satisfaction.
Resolve customer complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner.
Train and mentor customer service staff to improve their skills and performance.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality customer service.
Regularly report on the performance of the customer service department and suggest improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred but not required in lieu of experience.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service managerial role, preferably in the manufacturing/processing industry.
Proficient in order processing and on-time delivery management.
Strong knowledge of standard operating systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
Ability to prepare customer quotes and manage pricing strategies.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle schedule changes effectively.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
