A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT As an Assistant Superintendent, you work closely with all members of the project team and assist with coordinating subcontractor work scopes and activities.
Your main priority is to take charge of the construction scheduling, as you perform regular updates, monitor logic relationships, add new work items, and reflect resulting impacts.
You also assist with the coordination of job site logistics and maintain relationships with adjacent building teams and subcontractors.
You also make certain that BJPC's safety program and development plans are completed on time.
As a site supervisor, you are passionate about quality and safety, you confirm that proper procedures are constantly being followed by all staff.
Based on your thorough understanding of project timelines, you ensure that materials are at the job site prior to scheduling.
You also maintain relationships with adjacent building teams and subcontractors.
Ultimately, you are responsible for the project's profitability and the meeting of customer deadlines for completion.
You get great satisfaction out of achieving revenue goals for our company while exceeding customer goals for quality and timing! QUALIFICATIONS Proficient with reading and interpreting plans and specifications Working knowledge of all scopes of work in commercial construction 2
years of experience foreman/lead in commercial construction or 2
years of higher education in a construction-based curriculum Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and scheduling software A Bachelor's degree is a plus, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
