Job Description A PSM Specialist 1 will learn to support Corporate End Users and provide technical Process Safety Management guidance on a variety of issues that will require public speaking, writing, and computer skills.
Should be comfortable in front of customers and be able to represent themselves as an expert in regulatory compliance.
Duties Requires working with and around ammonia refrigeration systems, and strict adherence to safety standards including the specific hazards of ammonia refrigeration systems is required.
Familiarization with OSHA, EPA, and IIAR Codes, Standards, and Bulletins.
Assist Senior PSM Specialists in developing procedures, guidelines, and documentation for Anhydrous Ammonia Equipment.
Attend analysis, audits, and inspections at customer facilities with a Senior PSM Specialist to learn the process and procedure involved.
Complete necessary training required to perform onsite Mechanical Integrity Inspections at customer's facilities.
Responsibility Ensure completion of assigned compliance tasks.
Accuracy of PSM documentation.
Executing work under the budgeted hours.
Accountable for project compliance with Clauger and Customer standards.
Assist in creating technical reports.
Internal Coordination Participate in internal staff meetings.
Participate in project status meetings.
Proactively work with others to avoid gaps and conflicts.
Expectations Mechanically inclined and demonstrate a high work ethic.
Technical capacity for industrial systems and piping.
Problem-solving/analysis.
Good written and communication skills.
Maintains confidentiality of Clauger's and Customers' fiscal and personal information.
