Essential Duties Conducting fire sprinkler inspections.
Documenting all results in detailed building reports and/or deficiency reports through the use of a tablet.
Interacting with building owner/property manager prior to, during, and after completion of the inspection.
Communication with other departments to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Training less experienced/newer colleagues on the job.
Always exhibiting exceptional customer service and professionalism.
Performing other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
Qualifications Must have a valid Driver's License Ability to report to multiple jobsites in one day Have in-depth knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, codes, and standards including NFPA codes and local building and fire codes Job Requirements Exceptional attention to detail.
Basic ability to read and understand blueprints and design drawings.
Basic math skills.
Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Safety/Physical Requirements Ability to continuously walk and stand.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Ability to squat, bend, climb, and lift.
Related Experience Previous experience in fire sprinkler systems inspections Education Must be able to obtain applicable state and/or local required industry licenses as required by state law.
Highschool Diploma or equivalent Reports to:
Division Manager Supervisory:
