Here's what HO says:"The HO Triumph water ski is designed for performance thru expert skiers. The Triumph is a high performance wide ski that utilizes a shaped sidecut, sharp bevels and three stage rocker to be stable, yet nimble. This is an awesome ski to work on form even at 32 mph in a slalom course. This ski is stiffer than other wide skis to provide much more acceleration cross wake. Like many wide skis it will ride higher in the water and create less drag. The benefit of less drag is much less fatigue. This will allow the occasional skier to tear up the lake without a week long recovery period!"The 71" length is also considered a big guy ski, suitable for skiers up to 280 pounds. I'm only about 205, and find that this size suits me perfectly. It's an easy deep water start, it sings through the slalom course, and can free ski on big water with the best of them. The Radar Rail binding and rear toe plate are XL (will fit 7-14 feet}, are exceptionally comfortable, provide a high level of support and performance. This ski had very careful use for one season only, was stored indoors, and does not have a mark on it. It is a "brand new" 2009 model.
